Get Rid of Glasses
.
Are you wearing glasses or contact lenses? Well, if you are reading this article, you most likely are. Your are not alone. Do you know why so many people have the same problem?
Unfortunately the life style of a an average contemporary person is very unnatural in many different aspects. One of the aspects is eye focusing.
Human vision is designed in such a way that most of the time we should be focusing on objects that are 10 - 30 feet away from us. This is the way it was hundreds and thousands of years ago. People were close to the nature, they were physically active and spent most of the time outside. Nowadays, instead of following the natural pattern we are focusing on a computer screen, a TV panel and smart phone display. This is the reason why our eyes are so fragile, and this is exactly the reason why so many of us have to wear glasses or contacts.
You know that your vision is not perfect but what you don't know is that, unless it is something like minus seven or minus nine (which is an extreme case) it can be improved. No, we are not talking about expensive and dangerous laser vision correction! We are talking about natural and 100% safe methods.
First of all you should ask yourself how many hours a day you spend in front of your computer. If it's more then 6 - 7 hours, then your eyes get overloaded. Most of us experienced this unpleasant red eye symptom. Do you make a 15 minutes break every hour? No? Then you definitely have to do this. How stressful your job is? If it is really stressful, you should learn to relax. Yoga and meditation are just for you.
How good is your computer monitor? Make sure it is a high quality one. Do you have hard time reading text from your screen? Optimize your resolution and monitor settings so that you feel absolutely comfortable. Do you like to read on the train or subway? Never do this again. The vibration produces the negative impact on your vision. Remember about proper lighting when you read.
How many hours a day do you sleep? Make sure you sleep at least 7.5 hours. It is highly recommended to go to bed around 10PM rather then midnight. You don't have enough time for a supper or movie? Just try to shift your schedule a little bid. You'll have exactly the same amount of time. Ones you start going to sleep and waking up early, you'll get more energy and your overall health will become better.
You should ask yourself what you eat and what food supplements you take. Your eyes need vitamins and especially
beta carotene. You can either take it as a supplement or just eat a lot of carrots or drink freshly made carrot juice.
Your eyes need relaxation and a very gentle massage. When you feel tired, just lie down, relax, and very gently massage your head, eyes and neck. Remember to be very gentle with your eyes. They are very sensitive. You can also take two pieces of cotton with a strong black or green tea (room temperature) and put these pieces of cotton on your eyes for couple minutes. We are talking about real pure, preferably organic tea (with no sugar, lemon or whatsoever) you make yourself, not a soft drink from a store. This is a good natural alternative to
Visine and other similar medications.
The most important element of the natural eye care, however, is so called focusing exercise. The idea is to train your eyes and force them to switch focus from close to distant objects and vice versa. While standing in front of the window, you should close one eye (just gently cover it with your arm) while focusing your other eye on something very close (for example: a little dot or line on the glass of your window). Keep the eye focused on this close object for about two seconds and switch the focus to something that is very far from you (for example: a corner of a distant high rise building). Then switch the focus back to the dot on your window. Repeat these steps 10 - 12 times for each of your eyes. This little exercise shouldn't take more than 3- 5 minutes. If you do it at least once a day, you should notice positive changes in your vision.
